(Posted November 22, 2017) The Shelbyvile, Kentucky Kroger has been undergoing a remodel for some time and here it is Thanksgiving and they're still not finished.

From the customer's perspective, the "new improved" layout of merchandise is no improvement over the old. Furthermore, empty shelves and familiar items no longer available tend to encourage customers to shop elsewhere, especially during the busy holiday season.
Upgraded rating to four stars. Big improvement since last I visited before Thanksgiving. There are still some things unfinished and some empty spaces on the shelves, but most of the shelves are well stocked now.
They have eliminated 2 of my favorite departments, health food, and toys. Why, Kroger? It's why I preferred you over Wal-Mart, even though the process are better at Wal-Mart on the things I but most. :(
It's now quite a bit more difficult to find the items that you need, and when you ask an employee, the item you want isn't where they told you to find it. And when you finally find the right place, they're sold out, or they don't sell that item now.
The person who brought the groceries out was very helpful. There were several items that had to be substituted, some I didn't choose to take. Bit your employee was helpful and sweet.
Tractor ride for the kids preschool was a lot of fun. Afterwords all the children were allowed to pick a pumpkin. The area is beautiful and the staff were friendly. I thought they did a great job.

Permanent signs have been installed to assist the customer in finding items and there are more staff available to assist today.
Over all good place to shop clothes are exspinsive here unless they are marked down. And if your looking for ear drops hear they are very hard to find only had one or 2 types and was hidden in the middle of all the eye drops... Worker who helped me find them was very nice. Good customer care.
Afterwords I had a bight to eat at their foodstand and had a cheeseburger. Tasty!
