Good country food and good country folk must put it on your bucket list.
We visit here from time to time and the grocery store is like traveling back in time. Basic economics make it impossible for them to sell competitively for everyday items, but when in a pinch I have no problem paying a little extra rather than driving into town with all the hubbub dealing with Kroger. I must say they have good burgers, but I think often overlooked is how good their fries are. They are always fresh and crisp and with a little ketchup, my burger heaven is complete. Oh yes, one really important thing: there is nothing like getting a burger and fries with a cold, glass bottle coke!
P.S. Lastly, my wife is crazy about their Reuben's, so don't shy away from trying their other foods, as well....
I've been going in this store over 25 years. I live 40 miles from here and still stop when I'm in the area. My grandparents & my Uncle Bob & Aunt Connie love the original owners. Now, their kids own it. They have the best breakfast & lunch! You'll not find better people, if you search the world... Thank you old timers for the good childhood memories!
